About Oasis Financial

Oasis Financial began offering lawsuit loans in 2003 to help injured plaintiffs cover medical bills and living expenses. They have grown to be one of the largest pre-settlement funding companies. They claim to provide $500 – $100,000 pre-settlement advances within 24 hours of approval. Like most companies, their settlement loans come with a no-win / no-pay structure. A large amount of their settlement loan business comes from referring attorneys.

Oasis Financial claims to have provided funding to more than 250,000 plaintiffs since 2003. In addition to plaintiff legal funding, they offers medical lien solutions and a pharmacy card program. They also offer pre-settlement funding in the form of direct payments to medical providers. They advertise that this may help plaintiffs get medical treatment at facilities that do not offer lien-based medical treatment.

Oasis Financial is the founding member of the Alliance for Responsible Consumer Lending (ARC) and Americans for Patient Access (APA). Oasis Financial is a licensed lender in Alabama, Illinois, Missouri, Oklahoma and South Carolina. They are also licensed to provide consumer litigation funding in Nebraska and Nevada.

    Worst company I ever got funding with. They overcharged and they’re very particular about how they do business they offered me a $600 loan and within 2 months I owed them $1,800 ridiculous I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone as a matter of fact I’d take him out of business horrible company go with Golden Pear nicest people ever met. Fast friendly and low interest rates.

    Oasis I’ve been trying to get a loan from them my settlement was been done I called him back and they said I had to wait 30 days I called him back after 30 days nothing still happened they’re a fraud they’re parasite to everybody that tries to use them they treat you like s*** they suck

    Nope. They told me my Phillips CPAP sleep machine lawsuit is no good. A lot of funding companies told me the same. So I say for myself they all no good. Phoney as hell!

    I do not recommend using this company for pre-settlment loans. My case took almost 3years to settle, in which I received aproximately $7,000 in loans from OASIS. AFter the settlement agreement was made they stated that I owed them over $19,000. My lawyer is still fighting with them about this amount. It should not ever cost someone $12,000 to borrow$7,000. The interst cap in the state of illinois is 36% which would be $2,500; bringing the total to $9,500 not $19,500! So they are trying to take $10,000 of my settlement that they have no right to take!

    I’m very happy with the help that oasis has given me.! My attorney and I are very Happy because they have given me funds to survive and pay bills that otherwise I would have settled for far less than what I deserve. They have allowed me to seek proper restitution for my injuries and for my pain and suffering.     I really appreciate Oasis Financial. They have always helped me when I’ve been in need. The interest didn’t bother me because I needed the funds. It’s important to read your contract. The process is straightforward and easy. Once I told my lawyer I needed funding her had no problem with saying “Yes” to this company. I have a great lawyer and that should say something.     I was referred to this company by my attorney. After my nearly fatal car accident on 9/11/22 I was out of work for 7 months without any income. Since then i have been trying to catch up on my bills so I won’t lose my home. I have been reaching out to my attorney on the status of my case since April when I completed physical therapy but there haven’t been any major movement to my case. Now it’s a year later so i called Friday to see if there were any options for me to get an advancement. My attorney recommended Oasis as their referral company. I applied Monday Sept 25th the website state the status update within 48hours. I called on Wednesday for the update and the representative that answered stated it can take more than a “few” business days. Today is Friday Sept 29th I decided to check on the status and the automatic system informed me i was “denied” by underwriting. I spoke to a representative she stated underwriting is conservative on making a decision. What exactly does that mean? I asked what factors are considered for the approval and denial and she stated repeatedly the underwriter are conservative which doesn’t give a legitimate reason for denial. She confirmed my attorney did honor the request but underwriting did not. I asked when would I have received a notification of the denial. The representative stated they sent me a email Wednesday. I’ve checked my email inbox and spam folders and Oasis did not send me anything. When I checked my emails to see if I received it then representative responds “Also, we can not resend you the denial email”. The customer service has been horrible the lines of communication is bad. It was a bad experience for someone that’s already dealing with a life crisis.
